She was united in marriage to LeRoy Harrison on February 18, 1947 in Hays, Kansas. They were blessed with four children, Dennis, Diane, Kirk, and Kim. Verlene was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker. Her family was her world, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
