Theresa E. Kasper, 92, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away July 27, 2015 at Golden Living Center in Wilson, Kansas. She was born October 15, 1922 on the family farm in Lincoln County, the daughter of William and Agnes (Jarus) Kratky. On May 10, 1949, she married Louis L. Kasper in Wilson, Kansas. This union was blessed with three children: John L., Mary Louise, and Loretta. Together they made their home in Wilson. A homemaker, Theresa was a lifetime resident of Wilson. She was a faithful member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, the Alter Society, and the Daughters of Isabella. She was an ever present figure at church functions and devoted her time and talents by taking meticulous care of the church linens and alter flowers. Survivors include her son, John L. Kasper and wife Belinda of Wilson, daughter Mary Louise Vopat and husband Dr. Richard of Wilson, nine grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, and daughter Loretta Lowery both in 2006, three brothers, Joseph Kratky, Al Kratky, and Paul Kratky; and three sisters, Helen Kratky, Mary Soukup, and Francis Kroboth. Vigil with D of I Rosary will be at 7:00pm Thursday, July 30, 2015 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00am Friday, July 31, 2015 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church celebrated by Father Mathew Chacko. Burial will follow in St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery.
