Theodore W. "Ted" Klim

Theodore W. “Ted” Klim was born March 13, 1923 to Adam and Francis Klim in Nutley, NJ. He passed away September 6, 2012 at the Hospice Care Center in Grand Junction, CO at the age of 89. Ted married Mary Ann (Westhusin) on February 23, 1946 in Los Angeles, CA. She preceded him in death. He married Katherine Tisdall on February 14, 1980 in Plainville, KS. She preceded him in death. On March 2, 1984 he married Viola Basgall in Hays, KS. She also preceded him in death. He was a farmer for many years. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Hays, KS, the American Legion, the Knights of Columbus, and the VFW #9076 in Hays, KS. Ted leaves behind a son, Charles Klim of Winslow, AR; a daughter, Elizabeth Pope of Grand Junction, CO; a step-son, Jim (Jean) Basgall of Olathe, KS; six grandchildren, Clifford (Nicole) Klim of Fayetteville, AR, Cody Klim of Hogeye, AR, Charles Klim, Jr. of Fayetteville, AR, Shawna (Tony) Oakes of Fruita, CO; Van Bomgardner of Grand Junction, CO, Christopher (Sumer) Pope of Fruita, CO; three step-grandchildren, Jody Basgall and partner Lance Locke of Leawood, KS, Jason Basgall of Boulder, CO and Jill (Bryan) Sulser of Denver, CO; five great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
