Steven Paul Finnesy passed away on January 21st, 2013 at the age of 55. Steve was born on October 5, 1957 in Plainville, Kansas- the son of Donald and Eva (Mayhew) Finnesy. Steve attended school in Plainville graduating from Plainville High School. Steve spent many years of his life working in the oilfield and making many friends, he was a lifetime resident of Plainville. On February 18th, 1977 Steve married Kimberly Hammonds they later divorced. To this union four beautiful daughters were born, Cortney, Ashley, Loni and Stevie which were the loves of his life. He was an avid NASCAR fan, Steve loved his grand-children; they brought him immense joy. Steve loved nature and spending time out in the country cruising around the countryside in his Chevy pickup especially during harvest time. Steve was a prankster he loved to make people laugh. He touched many people throughout his life. Survivors include his daughters Cortney and husband Shawn Dale Hays, Ashley and husband Dan Zeller Topeka, Loni and husband Josh Foster Topeka and Stevie Finnesy Plainville, Eight grandchildren; Logan, Austin, Dalton and Max Dale, Georgia and Jacob Zeller, Emma Finnesy and Owen Foster. Steve is survived by two brothers Dennis (D.J.) and Norma, Plainville, Doug and Cathy, Boise, Idaho, sisters Janice Cole and Rick, Wichita and Melissa Finnesy Plainville. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and nephews Maverick Werner and Bo Brown.
