Steven Richard Eback passed away Friday, April 10, 2015 at Hays Medical Center in Hays, Kansas at the age of 54. He was born on November 18, 1960 in Devils Lake, North Dakota to Anton and Phyllis Ann (Zettler) Eback. Steven loved life and lived it to the fullest at every opportunity. Whether he was fishing, partying with friends, along with maybe a drink or two, or out cruising in the country, every moment was about having fun and enjoying the people he was with. He was a hard worker and enjoyed refinishing furniture as well as his job at Liberty Operations. But above all the work and play, Steven had a huge heart for friends, family, and neighbors. He never hesitated to help out anybody who was in need no matter what the situation was. If he could help, he was there. Steven is survived by his mother Phyllis Eback of Devils Lake, ND; daughters Amanda Eback of Mandan, ND, Kerri Eback of Plainville, KS, and Nicole Eback of Devils Lake, ND; and girlfriend Debbie Nicolaides of Natoma, KS. He was preceded in death by his father Anton Eback. Sometimes rough and tough, sometimes gentle and soft-hearted, Steven lived every day as a gift, embracing the moment, enjoying the good times and working through the hard times. He was a big-hearted man, who left us way too soon, but who will never be forgotten in our hearts, in our stories, in our tears, in our laughter, and in our memories. Service: 109 S.
