Ruth M. Rolo

Ruth M. “Ruthie” Rolo, 84, of Palco died Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Hays Medical Center. Ruth was born May 20, 1928 in Waco, TX to Walter “J.W.” and Virgie Rae (Crosley) Watkins. She attended and graduated high school in Waco. TX. She married Allan Rolo on March 6, 1946, in Waco, TX. She was a homemaker and worked several positions in the food industry. Ruth enjoyed going to casino’s, but what she really loved was cooking and spending time with her family. She was also a member of the Plainville Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include her husband, Allan; 3 sons, Ken Rolo and wife Mary of Granbury, TX, Les Rolo and wife Ellen of Luka, KS and Lloyd Rolo and wife Sue of Grand Island, NE; 5 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers; and 3 sisters.
