Russell Eugene Morgan

Russell Eugene Morgan passed away on September 18, 2022, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family at the age of 66. He was born on July 21, 1956, to Lyle and Lyril (Power) Morgan in Phillipsburg, Kansas. Russell was united in marriage to Patricia “Tricia” Robinson on May 30, 1975, at the Main Street Christian Church in Stockton, Kansas. The couple was blessed with four sons: Brandon, Brady, Levi, and Jacob.

Russell grew up in Glade and attended Glade Grade School and Junior High before going to Stockton High School. He then went to work several other jobs as a general laborer and worked with his family custom harvesting. Later in life he was a mechanic as well as working for the county as an equipment operator. Russell was no stranger to hard work, his family and friends labeled him as a “workaholic”, but that didn’t keep him from taking the time to stop and visit with friends and family when the opportunity presented itself.

We find solace that Russell grew in his faith and accepted the Lord’s gift to us. Someday we will see our husband, brother, and friend in Christ again.

Russell is survived by his wife, Tricia Morgan of Stockton, KS; sons, Brady Morgan of Great Bend, KS, Levi Morgan of Plainville, KS, and Jacob (Lexy) Morgan of Milwaukee, WI; siblings, Randy Morgan of Dickinson, ND, Kyla (John) Hoffman of Dalhart, TX, Colleen Morgan of Stockton, KS, Kevin (Ronda) Morgan of Stockton, KS; and grandsons, Brandon Russell Morgan, and Henry Morgan.

He joins in his heavenly home, his parents, Lyle and Lyril Morgan and a son, Brandon Morgan.

The family will be hosting a Memorial Service on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at the Main Street Christian Church in Stockton starting at 10 AM.
