Rory Lane Romine

Rory Lane Romine, 53, died Saturday June 2, 2012 at Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka, Kansas. He was born September 27, 1958 in Hays Kansas to Richard H. and Lucile (Rothenberger) Romine. Rory had one daughter, Autumn Lane Romine. Rory grew up in Palco, Kansas. He graduated from Palco High School and attended Fort Hays State University. Rory worked with his father at Thunderbird Oil Company, Palco KS and Al-La-Lyn Oil, Inc., Ellis KS. Rory was preceded in death by his father, Richard and one brother, Ricky. He will be missed by his daughter Autumn and her husband Travis Maley, his brother Reggie Romine, and his mother Lucile, all of Topeka KS. A memorial service will be held this Friday, June 8th at 4:00 pm at the Nazarene Church in Plainville, Kansas with a reception following the service. There will be no visitation. The family suggests memorial gifts be made to the Nazarene Church, Plainville, KS and may be sent in care of Moore-Overlease Funeral Chapel, 409 S. Cochran, Plainville, KS 67663.
