Ronald Pooley

Ronald R. Pooley, age 68, of Plainville, passed away at the Redbud Village in Plainville on Friday, March 4, 2011. He was born May 14, 1942 in Paradise, Kansas. He served in the United State Navy and worked as a pumper for the Bowman Oil Company. He enjoyed racing cars, and watching stockcar races and demo derby’s On July 28, 1975 he married Roberta “Bobbie” Weigel in Stockton. She survives of the home. Ron is also survived by 2 sons and 2 daughters and 6 grandchildren. Cremation is planned and a celebration of his life will be at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Redbud Village and may be sent in care of the Moore-Overlease Funeral Chapel, 409 S. Cochran, Plainville, Kansas 67663.
