Richard Henry Romine

Richard Henry Romine, 83, of Victoria, KS. died Monday, April 16, 2012 at Stormont-Vail Hospital Topeka, Kansas. He was born January 5, 1929 in Palco Kansas to Lawrence Bruce and Beulah May (Williams) Romine. Richard married Lucile Rothenberger, May 21, 1950 in Osborne Kansas. They had three sons: Ricky Alan, Reggie Lynn, & Rory Lane. Richard was raised on a farm in Palco, Kansas. It was in Palco that he made his home and raised his family. He was a farmer, rancher, owner & operator of Thunderbird Oil Company and president of Al-La-Lyn Oil, Inc. Richard was preceded in death by his father and mother and one son, Ricky Romine. He will be missed by Lucile Romine, his wife of 63 years, two sons, Reggie and Rory, a granddaughter Autumn (Romine) Maley and her husband Travis Maley, all of Topeka KS. A memorial service will be held this Saturday, April 21st at 11:00 am at the Nazerene Church in Plainville, Kansas with a reception following the service.
