Renee A. Struckhoff

Renee Ann (Buersmeyer) Struckhoff passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 77. She was born on May 24, 1937 in Washington, Missouri to Joseph and Adele (Lause) Buersmeyer. Renee graduated from Saint Francis Borgia High School in Washington with the Class of 1955. On August 23, 1958 she was united in marriage to Fred W. Struckhoff in Washington. They were blessed with two sons, Kevin and Stanley. Renee was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She loved to cook, especially baking cakes and pies. Cooking was an act of service and love for those she loved the most, her family and friends. Renee is survived by her sons, Kevin Struckhoff and wife Marisa of Fort Collins, CO, and Stanley Struckhoff of the home in Plainville; brother, Dale Buersmeyer and wife Betty of Pacific, MO; brother and sister-in-laws, Charles Struckhoff of Colby, Berniece Hansen of Grinnell, Jeanne Struckhoff of Roeland Park, Rita Hitt of Pratt, and Kenneth and Janet Struckhoff of Grinnell; and grandchildren, Darcy Struckhoff of Denver, CO, Kelsey Struckhoff of Wichita, Tyler Struckhoff of Manhattan, and Matthew Struckhoff of Fort Collins, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Adele Buersmeyer, and her husband Fred Struckhoff. Renee was a woman of deep faith, love, and devotion to God, family, and friends. She was greatly loved, and will be greatly missed, but her legacy will live forever in our hearts and in our memories. Reception: Immaculate Conception Catholic Church
