Ralph E. Hyde

Ralph Eldon Hyde, 77, was born on a farm near Studley, Kansas, on March 11, 1936, to Walt and Mary “Mae” (Cunningham) Hyde. He passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at his home in Hoxie, where he resided for more than 30 years. After Ralph’s childhood he spent time in the Military with the United States Army. When he returned home he spent time working for the feedlot in Hoxie. You would also see him on his mower working for the State Highway Department. Ralph remained a bachelor and never had children of his own. He lived with his mother Mary until her passing. He is survived by a sister, Wilma Bieker and her husband Curly of Hoxie; brother, Darrel Hyde of Hoxie; and many nieces and nephews. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Walt and Mae Hyde, and a twin sister, Ruth Taylor on February 19, 2013.
