Quetona Williams

Quetona M. Williams, age 89, of Stockton passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at the Rooks County Health Center in Plainville. She was born September 9, 1922 in Rooks County, Kansas the daughter of Willis and Alta (Peaslee) Bird. Quetona graduated from Stockton High School in 1940. She was a homemaker and worked for the Solomon Valley Manor in Stockton for many years and was a member of the Main Street Christian Church. On August 11, 1940 she married Karl Williams in Stockton. He passed away August 10, 2000. Survivors in clued her sons Robert and his wife Nancy Williams, Ronald and his wife Jonita Williams, & Richard and his wife Barbara Williams all of Stockton; nine grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; her daughter Rhonda Kollman, her parents, and her son in law Gary Kollman. Quetona’s request was that her body be donated to the KU Medical Center. Private services will be at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Main Street Christian Church and may be sent in care of the Smith-Moore-Overlease Funeral Home, 723 N.
