Paul Younie

Paul Younie passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015 at the Rooks County Health Center in Plainville, Kansas at the age of 54. He was born on May 6, 1961 in Hays, Kansas to Bill and Treva Younie. He graduated from Thomas More Prep-Marian High School in Hays with the Class of 1979. He went on to receive a degree from North Central Kansas Technical College in Beloit, Kansas. On September 25, 1997 he was united in marriage to Bonnie Clark. Paul is survived by his wife Bonnie Younie of the home in Plainville; parents Bill Younie and wife Joni of Lafayette, LA, and Treva Younie of Plainville; son Josh Miller of Catherine; daughters Dena Stein and husband Josh of Lawrence, and Shanaya Brumitt of Hays; brothers Philip Younie and wife Chris of Hays, Pat Younie of Lee’s Summit, MO, and Preston Younie and wife Cathy of Emporia; grandmother Cora Hobaugh of Plainville; and granddaughters Tasha and Kayla Stein. A private family service and inurnment will take place at a later date.
