Patricia Joan Hosier

Patricia Joan Hosier was born May 29, 1933 to John and Hortense (Russell) Maupin. She passed away at her home in Natoma, August 16, 2012, at the age of 79. Patricia attended school in Washington, KS and Natoma. She graduated from Natoma High. In May of 1954 she married Billie Lee Hosier. To this union 4 children were born: Leslie Lee, Bobby Ray, Kathleen Ann and Russell Scott. Pat worked at Tavenol for several years and then at SYKES. She was a member of the Natoma Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading. She was survived by her sons Bobby Hosier of Natoma and Russell Hosier and wife Wavia of Cawker City, KS; brothers Johnny Maupin and wife Nellie and Mike Maupin and wife Gabi of Dodge City, KS; sisters Mary Gooden and husband Nile of Natoma, KS and Sue Petty of Luray, KS; 7 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Leslie Lee, daughter Kathleen Ann Thomson, and sister Ona Maupin. Memorial service at Natoma Cemetery, Saturday, August 25, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. There will be no visitation.
