Patricia Louise Adams

Patricia L. Adams passed away Tuesday morning, December 18, 2012 at her home in Tasco, Kansas at the age of 80. Patricia Louise was born June 7, 1932 to Olin Franklin “Buzz” and Opal L. (Shepard) Storer in Sheridan County Kansas north of Studley. Pat attended rural schools and graduated from Hoxie High School with the class of 1951. She attended Business College at Brown Mackie College in Salina. She was united in marriage to Floyd Adams on June 2, 1951 in Tasco. They were blessed with four children, Floyd, Kanda, George and Terry. Pat spent many years working as a legal secretary for Ken Clark Law Office and Sloan Eland Law Office. She was also a Court Reporter for Sheridan County and later worked for Taylor Implement. Pat had many hobbies from sewing, to fishing, and playing cards with family and friends. She enjoyed going to dances with her husband and the wonderful times she had with her grandchildren. She was very well known for her ability to make amazing wedding cakes. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Floyd Kim Adams and wife Terri of Delphos, KS, George “Corky” Adams and wife Jeanette and Terry Adams all of Tasco; daughter, Kanda Jones and husband Jonny of Hoxie; brother, Rex Storer of Hoxie; sister Beverly Turner of Hill City; sister-in-law, Vera Storer of Hays; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Buzz and Opal; husband Floyd; brother, Don Storer and infant grandchild. Reception: A reception will follow the service for family and friends at the 4-H building
