Orval Duane Finch

Orval Duane Finch passed away Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Oklahoma State University Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 89. Orval was born January 28, 1923 in Ellis County to Gaven and Pearl (Clair) Finch. He was the youngest of seven children. In 1943 Orval was called to duty for World War II and served his country with honor, valor, and courage. After returning from the war Orval met the love of his life Irma Pauline Doty. They were blessed with two boys; Eugene and Steve. Orval was a dedicated husband and father and provided for his family the only way that he knew how, which was hard work and dedication. Orval was great at making people laugh and was loved by many but to his dearest friends he was known AB. Orval loved his grand kids and great grand kids; and loved spending time with them. Left to cherish Orval’s memory is son Eugene Finch of Mannford OK, 6 grandchildren, a 4 great grandchildren. Orval was preceded in death by his parents, Gaven and Pearl; wife, Irma; son; Steven; and 6 siblings, Darrel, Cleo, Delton, Grace, Ruby and Lawrence.
