Mary C. Conn

Mary Cecilia Conn, 58 of Stockton, Kansas, passed away at 7:24am on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. Born November 28, 1955 in Biloxi, Mississippi, she was the daughter of Arthur Lawrence and Geridine Dorothy Johns. She married Douglas Conn on September 4, 1999, surviving. Survivors also include her mother, Gerardine Johns, of Hastings, NE, two sons, Scott Krieger Jr. and wife, Julie of Buffalo, NY and their children Wyatt and Avalon, Henry Krieger and husband, Eric Thompson-Krieger of Omaha, NE, a daughter, Stephenie Bauer and husband, Jason of Grand Island, NE and their children, Cole and Noah, one step son, Brandon Conn of Lincoln, NE and one step daughter, Erin Gonzales and husband, Kenny of Tulsa, OK and their daughter Roriayn, her siblings, Paul Johns and wife, Mary of Plattsmouth, NE, Diane White of Chillicothe, MO, and David Johns and wife, Janie of Garland, TX, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Arthur Johns and her brother Stephen Johns. Mary was a graduate of Adams Central High School near Hastings, NE and a long time resident of Hastings, NE where she worked at Hastings College for 17 years until moving to Stockton with her husband in 2005, where she worked with the Clerk of the County Court. She was a member of the local chapter of the Lions Club and the Altar Society. She was always one to help others in need, making quilts and donating fresh fruit for needy families among many other countless deeds. She loved reading, scrap booking and her family.
