Linda W. Waddell

Linda W. Waddell passed away Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Via Christi St. Francis Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 65. She was born August 26, 1948 to Al and Tillie (Kuhn) Depperschmidt in Gove County, Kansas. Linda attended school in Park and graduated from Park High School with the class of 1966. She also attended Fort Hays State University for two years. She was married to Patrick E. Waddell January 9, 1972 in Park, Kansas. They were blessed with two children: Rane and Cassie. She was a member of the St. Thomas Catholic Church and Altar Society. During her life she worked at Southwestern Bell in Hays, Kansas, Rooks County Abstract and Title Company, and was currently working at the Rooks County Clerk’s Office. Left to cherish Linda’s memories are her husband, Patrick Waddell; son, Rane Waddell of Stockton; daughter, Cassie Waddell of San Francisco, CA; brothers, Marvin Depperschmidt (Norma) of Salina, Ken Depperschmidt (Diane) of Smith Center and Les Depperschmidt (Connie) of Derby; and sister, Marilyn Heble (Duane) of Colby. Preceding Linda in death are her parents, Al and Tillie; brothers, Gerald and Cletus Depperschmidt; and sister Kathleen Woerpel. Linda lived well and died well with faith hope and love.
