She was born on September 29, 1923 in Hoxie to the late Harley and Clara (Field) Morgan. She grew up and attended school in Hoxie graduating from Sheridan Community High School with the Class of 1941. On July 26, 1942 she was united in marriage to Forrest E. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and sang in the Church Choir. Her passion for music, especially violin and piano, led her to teach neighborhood kids as well as her own to play. Together, Lillian and Forrest were avid bird watchers. There are many fond memories of time spent with their children and grandchildren testing them on acquired bird knowledge. In her later years, she enjoyed watching basketball on TV and became a Wheel of Fortune expert.
