Leeon Watkins

Funeral services for Leeon E. Watkins, age 47, of WaKeeney, Kansas, will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at the Moore-Overlease Funeral Chapel in Plainville with Pastor Stephen Walls officiating. Mrs. Watkins passed away Friday, November 11, 2011 at the Trego County-Lemke Memorial Hospital in WaKeeney. She was born March 20, 1964 the daughter of Orie and Twilla M. (McDaneld) Hashenberger. Leeon was a homemaker and was a housekeeper at the Days Inn in Hays for the past 12 years. She enjoyed being a Mom, grandmother, and anything Elvis. On June 19, 1982 she married Richard Watkins in Plainville. He survives of the home. Other survivors include her mother Twilla Hashenberger of Plainville, Kansas; son Duane Watkins of Hays, Kansas; daughters Maria Watkins and Elizabeth Watkins also of Hays, Kansas; Brother Charles McDaneld of Plainville, Kansas; and 3 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father Orie. Burial will be in the Plainville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9-8 Monday, and from 9- service time Tuesday at the chapel.
