Kevin W. Foran

Kevin W. Foran, 81, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at the Wilson Care and Rehabilitation Center in Wilson, KS. He was born January 12, 1938 to Bill and Mary (Vopat) Foran in Wilson. Kevin was a 1955 graduate of Wilson High School. He later got his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Accounting. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Woods on August 24, 1963 in Wilson. Kevin worked for State Farm Insurance for many years in their corporate office in Illinois. Kevin enjoyed collecting guns, gardening, and planting trees, but what he enjoyed most was spending time with Dorothy. Left to cherish his memory is his son, William Foran of Dixon, IL; daughters, Tamera French, Maura (Donnie) Crittenden, Brenna Foran, and Sarah (Nathan) Masters all of Bloomington, IL; brothers, Thomas Foran of Wilson, and Mike Foran of Wichita, KS; sister, Mary Alice Bush of Elizabethtown, KY; 11 grandchildren, BreeAnn (Nathan) Griffin, Jake (Megan Zelenka) Koch, Tori (Jacob) Phillips, Emma Brown, Dane Crittenden, Branda Mary, and Anna, Will, Henry, Sam, and Amelia Masters; and a great-granddaughter Alivia Koch. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Mary; wife, Dorothy; sister, Carolyn Galliart; son-in-law, Tom French; and brother-in-law’s, Sonny Bush and Leonard Galliart. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church at 10:00AM in Wilson. Visitation will be at 9:30AM until service time on Saturday at the church.
