John C. Adam

Funeral services for John Christopher “JC” Adam, age 37, of Plainville, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at the Moore-Overlease Funeral Chapel in Plainville with Father Galen Long officiating. JC passed away Sunday, November 14, 2010 at the Rooks County Health Center in Plainville. He was born April 15, 1973 in Salina the son of Ken & Susan K (Wells) Adam. JC worked as a store manager for Burger King in Abilene and Colby. JC enjoyed the outdoors and especially enjoyed shooting and collecting guns and camping. Survivors include his father Ken Adam of Plainville; daughters Kelly Marie Adam of Anderson, Missouri; Courtney Allison Adam of Hays; son Zachary Dean Seib of Hays; sister Malynda and husband Douglas Loney of Plainville; a niece and 2 nephews along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his Mother Susan Wells on October 13, 2006 and his grandparents. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 Monday, 9-8 Tuesday, and from 9 – service time Wednesday at the chapel. A Ladies Guild Rosary will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon followed by a Parish Vigil service at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Moore-Overlease Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hays Medical Center Home Health & Hospice or the Rooks County Health Center and may be sent in care of the Moore-Overlease Funeral Chapel, 409 S.
