Jesse James Swaney

Jesse James Swaney, San Diego, Calif., passed away on December 10, 2021, at the age of 35, at Sharpe Grossmont Hospital in San Diego due to heart failure. He was born on May 28, 1986, to Ray and Correna (Winters) Swaney in Phillipsburg, KS. Jesse was a 2004 graduate of Stockton High School. He spent the last ten years living in San Diego where he loved being by the ocean, playing in the water, taking pictures, and giving old furniture new life. Jesse was very creative. He is preceded in death by his grandpa, Jack Swaney, and grandma, Ruth Winters. He leaves behind his parents, Ray and Correna Swaney of Stockton; grandmother, Donna Swaney of Stockton; brother, Joshua of Stockton; sister, Janassa (Jesse) Prockish of Stockton; four beautiful nieces, Madelyn, Jessalyn, Raylyn, and Jolynn Swaney; and numerous aunts, uncle, cousins and friends. A Celebration of Jesse's Life will be held in Stockton at City Hall on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 2:00 PM.
