James Alan "Jim" Williams

James Alan “Jim” Williams, of Hays, KS, passed away on August 26, 2023, at the age of 67. He was born on June 12, 1956, to Clifton Maurice and Ada Louise Williams in Tribune, KS.

Jim grew up mostly in Larned, KS and graduated from Larned High School. Jim was a welder and handyman. He made wood walking sticks and wrote a poem that was published.

Jim is survived by his mother, Ada; and sisters, Karen and husband, Anthony Morgan of Ellis, KS, Karla Williams of Wichita, KS, and her daughter, DeEtta Williams, Indiana, Darla and husband, Michael Craven, Hays, KS and their children, Frances Lamb and husband, Thomas Lamb and their children Mary, Styles, Donovan and Mackenna, Goodland, KS.

He is preceded in death by his father, Clifton; and brother Clifton Eugene Williams; and nephew, Shawn Paul Asavadilokchai.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023, at 11AM at the First Baptist Church in Hays, KS.
