Greg M. "Doc" Azbill

Gregory Michael “Doc” Azbill passed away Saturday, June 14, 2014 in his home near Zurich, Kansas at the age of 60. He was born in Phoenix, Arizona on February 11, 1954 to George and Nethel (Wingo) Azbill. He married Sandy Mayberry on December 31, 1993 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Doc was no stranger to hard work and in fact he really loved it. From his job as a Pipefitter Superintendent to working on and building things, there wasn’t anything or any job that he wouldn’t take on. His love and talent showed in everything that he did. In addition to work, Doc loved playing his guitar and hanging out with family and friends. Life was meant to be lived and enjoyed, and he did it to the fullest every chance he had. Survivors include his wife Sandy of the home; children Michael Azbill and wife Malori of Los Angeles, CA, Whitney Azbill of Terrell, TX, Amanda Azbill of Dublin, Ireland, and Lisa Azbill of Salina; siblings Terry Azbill of Arcadia, NE, George Azbill and wife Wilma of Oklahoma, Marlee Prince of Mayor, AZ, and Sandy Yale of Phoenix, AZ; and three grandchildren Hannah, Carley, and Allison. He was preceded in death by his parents George Azbill, and Nethel and Milton Burke; and siblings Bernie, Debbie, Philip, and Penny Azbill. Cemetery: A Private Family Inurnment will take place at a later date.
