Eulalie “Tiny” Hargrave passed away Friday, October 25, 2019 at Brookdale Hays in Hays, Kansas, at the age of 97. Tiny was born on May 16, 1922 in Norton, Kansas to Carl and Minnie (Gay) Moorman. She graduated from Norton High School in 1939 and graduated Cum Laude from Kansas Wesleyan University in 1946 with her Bachelors of Arts degree. Tiny was united in marriage to William “Al” Hargrave on January 31, 1943 at the University United Methodist Church in Salina, Kansas. Throughout her life Tiny held many occupations including Secretary at the school in Hill City, and at the Plainville Grade School. She later managed the Credit Union for 11 years, and then became Secretary at Plainville United Methodist Church for nearly 20 years until her retirement at 83 years old. Tiny was a member of Alpha Beta Club, HB PEO Club, and the United Methodist Women. Tiny enjoyed many things in life including golf and dancing; but what she enjoyed most was her family. She loved spending time with her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. This time was spent teaching them how to bake, playing baseball, and many other activities. Tiny had a passion for music and was an excellent pianist and piano teacher. Teaching piano lessons for 40 plus years, she never turned down a student who wanted to learn. She is survived by her son, Mike (Mona) Hargrave of Salina; daughter, Mary Wise of Plainville; five grandchildren, Pastor Luke (Amanda) Wise, Scott (Danelle) Wise, Josh (Ashley) Wise, Justin (Ashley Larsen) Rieck, and Benjamin Hargrave; 11 great-grandchildren, Hadassah Wise, Isabelle Wise, Lillyana Wise, Laiken Wise, Harper Wise, Xavier Wise, Ronniyah Wise, Ryan Larsen, Easton Larsen, Addison Larsen, and Olivia Larsen; cousin, Donna Allen; and niece, Linda Kelly. Tiny is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Minnie; husband, Al; son-in-law, Ron Wise; and sisters, Wilma Moorman and Freida Johnson. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 1, 2019 at 10:30AM at the United Methodist Church, Plainville, KS. Interment will follow at 3:00PM at Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina, KS. Visitation will be held on Thursday 4:00PM until 8:00PM with the family receiving friends from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at the funeral home. Visitation will also be held on Friday at the church 9:30AM until service time.
