Eric A. Hageman, 63, passed away on December 27, 2024, at his home in Topeka, KS. He was born on July 16, 1961, in Plainville KS, the son of E. Charles and Beverly (Harris) Hageman.

Eric graduated from Stockton High School in 1980. He dedicated many years of his life to serving the State of Kansas, working in various departments, including the Department of Revenue, until his retirement in December 2023.

A long-time member of the Metropolitan Community Church of Topeka, Eric’s commitment to his faith and community was evident. Eric was also a dedicated member of the Pastoral Search Committee and a cherished member of the church choir, where he found great joy in singing.

Eric was known for his creative spirit and an eye for color and design. He had a special talent for flower arranging, a hobby he loved to share with others. Above all, Eric was a compassionate and generous soul. He was a great listener, always willing to lend an ear or offer support, and his love for his family and friends was immeasurable. Whether it was offering a kind word or sharing his last dollar, Eric’s selflessness knew no bounds.

Eric was preceded in death by his parents and niece, Karen Nuckols.

Eric will be greatly missed by his family, his church family, his classmates, and many friends. His kindness, warmth, and unwavering support left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date with burial to take place in the Stockton Cemetery.
