Efren Lloyd Mascarenas

Efren Lloyd Mascarenas, 52, of Rural Penokee, died in his home, January 4, 2018. He was born in Albequerque, New Mexico to Raymond and Geraldine (Madrid) Mascarenas, March 14, 1965. He was one of seven children, having three brothers and three sisters. Efren was the father of five children: Carl, Eddie, Efren Lloyd Jr., Alicia and Brandi. On April 3,2006, he married Jennifer Huff who brought to this marriage Christin Cantrell, Jessica Cowley and Nathan Huff. Efren was a roofer by trade and yet always longed for a place in the countryside to live and enjoy the great outdoors. He had a passion for fishing and would head to a fishing hole anytime he could get away. He loved the peace and quiet that goes along with living on a farm and was always interested in the cattle that were in a nearby pasture and fixing up the farmstead. He felt so at home there. He loved his family unconditionally and so enjoyed his grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his father, Raymond; one sister and three brothers. He is survived by his wife Jennifer of the home; his mother, Geraldine Madrid of Plainville; two sons: Carl Mascarenas of Russell and Eddie Mascarenas of Oregon; two daughters: Alicia Mascarenas and Brandi Mascarenas, both of Denver, Colorado; and twenty grandchildren.
