Dorothy Ann “Dot” Hrabe passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at the Solomon Valley Manor in Stockton, Kansas at the age of 79. She was born in Zurich, Kansas on November 29, 1933 to Gilbert Joseph and Mary Edith (Coupal) Thyfault. Dot attended school in Stockton and graduated from Stockton High School in 1951. She was married to Doyal Keith Hrabe on January 14, 1956 in Stockton. Doyal passed away on March 5, 2011. Dot was a member of the St. Thomas Catholic Church, Altar Society and VFW Ladies’ Auxiliary. She and Doyal owned the Coast-To- Coast store for 23 years. Dot loved going to auctions and buying antiques. She also loved gardening, flowers and dancing. She was an amazing cook, always over-doing it with her meals. Dot was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She enjoyed a good time and was always laughing. Left to cherish Dot’s memory are her sons, Alec Hrabe (Victoria) of Stockton, Brad Hrabe (Cathy) of Downs and Chrisopher K. Hrabe (Jean) of Salina; daughter Regina K. Muir (Brad) of Stockon; sisters Mary Frances Krahl of Salina and Jane Cunningham (Don) of Stockton; 9 grandchildren, Trevis Hrabe, Kelse Schneider (Bryce), Jackie Hrabe, Andrew Hrabe, Kayla Hilbrink (Spencer), Lindsey Muir, Tyler Muir, Jordan Carpenter (Michael) and Jeremy Hrabe; and 12 great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Morris, Damon Schneider, Derrick Schneider, Taylor Schneider, Adrienne Hrabe, Emily Hrabe, Hayden Hilbrink, Beckem Hilbrink, Dayton Carpenter, Bentley Carpenter, Serenety Borjas and Kyler Hrabe. Preceding Dot in death are her parents, Gilbert and Edith; husband Doyal; and brothers, Donald Thyfault and John Thyfault.
