Donald Fred Yoxall, 78, Miami, Oklahoma passed away Friday, December 3, 2010. He was born January 5, 1932 to Ollie Ellen Jane (Wasson) and Everett Pennell Yoxall. Don was a 1949 graduate of Stockton High School. He married Norma Mae Kelly in 1949. For a number of years Don worked at the Boyd and Conn Grocery Store in Stockton. He later co-owned and managed several Sinclair Service Stations with his two brothers. He also ran Yoxall Oil Company and was an insurance agent and co-owner of Your Insurance Corner. In 1991 Don moved to Arizona where he worked as an insurance agent until his retirement. He married Karen Atkisson in Miami, Oklahoma in 1997. Don is survived by his wife; five children, Bonnie LaRue and husband Don of Stockton; Dianna VanEaton and husband Quentin of Minneapolis, KS; Steve Yoxall and wife Teal of Littleton, CO; Terri Bennett and husband Scott of Stockton; Kelly Yoxall and wife Becky of Minneapolis, KS; one sister, Marjorie Conn of Stockton; one brother, Joe Yoxall of Phillipsburg; one sister-in-law, Elaine Yoxall of Concordia; fifteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Edward Yoxall, one brother-in-law, Glenn Conn, and one sister-in-law, Marvel Yoxall. Private graveside services will be in the Plainville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Down Syndrome Society of Wichita in care of Smith-Moore-Overlease Funeral Home, 723 N.
