Donald D. “Fuzzy” Anschutz, 77, of Lindsborg, Kansas died May 19, 2015 at the Lindsborg Community Hospital in Lindsborg, Kansas. Donald was born September 28, 1937 in Wilson, Kansas, the son of David and Wilma (Blehm) Anschutz. He grew up in Wilson, graduated from Wilson High School with the Class of 1956, served 11 years in the United States Navy then returned to Kansas to raise his family. In addition to farming and ranching, Donald was employed with Sunflower Ammunition, Beech Aircraft, and retired from Phillips Lighting in Salina in 2000. As a 1982 Graduate of Fort Smith Auction School, he was an accomplished auctioneer, loved his family, friends, and animals. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and American Legion Post #262 both in Wilson, a life member of Russell V.F.W. Post #6240, and Lindsborg Masonic Lodge #397. Surviving family includes his two sons, Donald Anschutz, Jr. of Lindsborg, KS and James (Sonya) Anschutz of Lindsay, OK; daughter, Tambera (Martin) Currier of Salina, KS, sister Vera McGee of Lompac, CA, four grandchildren, Doug Tabor, James Anschutz, Jr., Mason Currier, Jessica Anschutz, and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Leland Anschutz.
