Funeral services for Clive J. Felderman, age 89, of Palco will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at the Palco United Methodist Church in Palco with Reverend Deb Harvey officiating. Mr. Felderman passed away Thursday, August 18, 2011 at the Graham County Hospital in Hill City, Kansas. He was born May 29, 1922 in Webster, Kansas the son of Albert and Myrtle (Koons) Felderman. He graduated from Webster High School and served his country during WWII in the Air Force. Clive served in the CBI Theatre and flew supplies and personnel over the “Hump”. He retired from the service in 1969 as a Master Sergeant. Following his retirement he worked in upstate New York for an electronics company until retiring and moving back to Palco in 1987. Clive enjoyed gardening, feeding the birds and squirrels, and watching anything with aviation especially B-17 airplanes. On August 17, 1947 he married Jarvine Jennings in Palco. She survives of the home. Other survivors include his daughter Kathy and her husband Russell Graham of Moscow, Idaho; sister Vula Geiger of Plainville; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister. Burial will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery near Palco with military honors provided by the McConnell Air Force Base Honor Guard. Visitation will be from 5-8 Monday, 9-8 Tuesday at the chapel, and from 10 – service time Wednesday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Clive J. Felderman Memorial Fund and may be sent in care of the Moore-Overlease Funeral Chapel, 409 S. Cochran, Plainville, Kansas 67663.
