Carrol J. Conyac

February 5, 1941 — February 14, 2013

Carrol J. Conyac passed away Thursday, February 14, 2013, at Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita at the age of 72. He was born February 5, 1941 in Hays, Kansas to Lawrence Admore and Doris Bessie (Jones) Conyac. Carrol attended school in Stockton and graduated from Stockton High School in 1959. He attended Kansas State University. In 1961 he married Constance “Connie” Pyle. To this union 3 children were born: Phillip, Kelly and Laurie. On May 5, 2001 Carrol was united in marriage to Marian Farris at the Church of the Nazarene in Great Bend, Kansas. Carrol was a lifetime Rooks County resident and member of the St. Thomas Catholic Church. He was very involved in community interests. He was a 4-H Leader and girls’ softball coach. He was involved with the Stockton Recreation Commission, Rooks County Free Fair, Black Powder Gun Club and Stockton Area Train Club. Carrol was instrumental in opening the End of the Line gift & hobby shop in downtown Stockton which Marian continues to run. He was a farmer for many years and also spent time in agri-business, insurance, sales, construction and trucking. Family was very important to Carrol. He loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. Left to cherish Carrol’s memory are his wife, Marian of the home; son Phillip Conyac (Linda) of Stockton; daughters Kelly Drouillard (Jeff) and Laurie Pavlik (Todd) of Shawnee; step-daughters Hanna Jirak (Israel) of Blanchard, OK and Hester Bundrock (Danny) of Fort Collins, CO; brother Larry Conyac (Nancy) of Stockton; 8 grandchildren, Alyssa, Cayden, Emily and Gage Conyac, Wade and Clayton Drouillard, and Parker and Elliot Pavlik; and 4 step-grandchildren, Layton and Landon Jirak and Cruise and Cohen Bundrock. Preceding Carrol in death are his parents Lawrence and Doris. God placed Carrol in our path and as family and friends, we are the keepers of the memories we shared with him.
