Bobby Tain Morris was born January 6, 1958, to Charles and Karen Morris of rural Graham County, Kansas. He departed this life September 3, 2016 in rural Norton County, Kansas. Bobby graduated from Hill City High School in football and track and was an avid wrestler. He attended Dodge City Community College where he was a member of the wrestling team. After college he returned to Hill City to continue farming and ranching. `He enjoyed traveling. After Kansas wheat harvest was finished the summer of 1977, his dad flew him to Sterling, Colorado where he met up with a custom harvest crew and cut wheat to Montana. They stayed for fall milo harvest and a trip into Canada. In 1988 Bobby traveled to Hawaii to visit Karla and her family living at Kaneohe Marine Air Station. He enjoyed a trip to Pearl Harbor and taking the boat out to the Arizona Memorial. Another time he flew to Alaska and spent a week out on a fishing boat. Bobby loved operating many types of transportation, from motorcycles to airplanes to 4-wheelers and pick-up trucks. Bobby was a lifetime farmer/rancher, living a simple life. He enjoyed cooking, often calling his mom and sister for favorite family recipes. He provided numerous overnight-smoked turkey for family Thanksgiving dinner and his famous Prime Rib at Christmas. Most Saturday nights you could find him in Morland at Prairie Junction making sure the Prime Rib was cooked to his perfection and found pleasure in watching the reactions of those who enjoyed eating it. He was a friend to many and "Bobby" stories will continue circulating for years to come. Preceding him in death was a niece, Candice Kay Moser. He leaves behind his parents, Charles and Karen, and sisters Robin and husband, Jon Hanna of Hill City, Malissa and husband, Mike Schuler of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Karla and husband, Jerry Moser of Blue Springs, Missouri. Nephews and nieces include Jacob and Nathan Hanna, Jennifer and Sean Guffey, Audrey and Taylor Vap, Tommy, Tracy, and Emma Schuler, Megan and Jacob Wilde, Amanda and Erik Dancy, and Ethan and Donnaven Moser, Great nephew and nieces Gabe Wilde, Aubree Hanna, Abby and Bethany Wilde, and Elizabeth Dancy.
