Arthur Leal Waymaster

Arthur L. Waymaster, 80, of Salina, Kansas, died May 21, 2015 at the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. He was born June 21, 1934 to Jacob and Caroline (Herber) Waymaster in Russell, Kansas. He grew up in Wilson, Kansas and attended area schools. He served in the United States Army in 1957. Arthur was a farmer/stockman who enjoyed being outdoors and taking care of his horses. He is survived by his children; Alan (Roberta) Waymaster of Ellsworth, KS, Darlene (Bruce) Arnold of Hays, KS, Harold (Darla) Waymaster of Wilson, KS, Melvin (Shelby) Waymaster of Nashville, TN, Norman (Lannis) of Salina, KS, Caroline (Charles) Mackey of Holyrood, KS; brother, Elmer Waymaster of Wilson, KS, thirteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; and friend Carol Bragg, of Salina, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Betty Waymaster. Memorials may be made to the Ellsworth County Relay for Life.
