Arlene Joane Brown Jody

Arlene Joane “Jody” Brown was born September 20, 1939 to Ernest and Elma (Wood) Pulec in Rooks County, Kansas. She passed away Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Phillips County Retirement Center in Phillipsburg at the age of 73. Jody attended county schools near Palco and graduated from Emporia High School with the class of 1958. She had a hard work ethic. Jody worked for Del Monte in Idaho as a Foreman for several years and then a gun shop in Agra and later a liquor store in Stockton. Jody enjoyed time in her yard, fishing, cooking, and especially collecting cookbooks. Jody will be missed by her companion, Roy Drullinger of Woodston; step-son, Larry Drullinger and wife Kathy of Stockton; step-daughter-in-law, Leona Drullinger of Woodston; brother, Larry Pulec of Stockton; sister, Elda of Garden City, Missouri; and Darrel Roberts of Woodston. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Elma Pulec and brothers, Eldon, Melvin, and Duane Pulec.
